5. If you wish to use your modem and phone

through the same phone wall jack, plug

your phone's cord into the modem's phone

jack (labeled with a phone icon on the

bottom of the case).

NOTE: You can not use the modem

and phone at the same time if they

share the same telephone line.

6. Turn on your modem (the power switch is

located on the front panel).

7. Turn on your computer and peripherals.
